As Australia is apart of Region 4 any disks released here can be played on any Region 4 player - so technicaly I can take a DVD of %27Snatch%27 and should be able to play it in Mexico.  It%27s when I take that same DVD over the border%2C that%27s where the fun begins as the good ol%27 USA %26 Canada is in Region 1 where our %27friend%27 Mr Region Protection should come into play %28provided US Customs hasn%27t seized it at the checkpoint%29 and refuse to play it when loaded in a US DVD player.%0D%0A%0D%0AThe way around this is to aquire a DVD player modified or purpose-built to nullify%2Fbypass region protection %28or the New Zealand way%3A get a DVD player from another region%29.  %0D%0A%0D%0AAnything coded Region 0 is an automatic play anywhere.%0D%0A%0D%0AAnd how does this relate to Cowboy Bebop DVDs%2C because I%27m only aware of them being licenced to be sold by distubutors in Japan %28Region 2%29%2C USA %28Region 1%29 and now Australia %28Region 4%29.%0D%0A%0D%0A--Rod.H %28who%27s waiting for the Enterprise DVDs%29
