Thankfully%2C I managed to find the right kind at a good price %28even though I had no real idea what a modem looked like%29. From what I heard%2C putting in the modem itself was easy%2C but I wasn%27t too sure about the software. Turns out the latter was the easy part%2C as I%27ve spent nearly two hours working on installing the piece. Not too bad for an ignorant hick...%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0AHnh.

It%27s nice to have those status lights where you can see them easily %28without %2Aadditional%2A software%29%2C and besides%2C my Mac here has no open slots for one anyway.
