Normally I would have been checking daily and responding%2C but shortly after I posted the last message I packed up my laptop so I could take it with me to the clinic %28where I can%27t connect to the internet%29 so I could watch DVDs during my platelet and blood transfusions %28which I get at least twice a week%29.  Despite my laptop being relatively new %28about a year old%29%2C it%27s also relatively large%2C and I don%27t really like packing and unpacking it more than I have to.  Unfortunately%2C most of my local friends don%27t keep contact with me anymore%2C and the few who do don%27t do it by e-mail%2C so I thought I could go a while without checking the internet.  I know excuses %28ooh%21 Enterprise is on%21%29 don%27t count for much%2C but that%27s why I haven%27t posted.  I%27m posting now because I finally have time on my parents%27 computer%2C which is usually dominated by my mother%27s game-playing.  It%27s ironic%3B I use my computer more for work%2C or the closest thing to work I have %28scanning and editing pictures%29 than my parents use theirs.  Anyhow%2C once again%2C I%27m sorry.%0D%0A%0D%0AYou bring up an interesting problem - how you know when someone known to you only on the internet is gone - one which I hope won%27t have to be addressed in my case.  This coming Tuesday%2C I%27m having another CAT scan %28T%27pal looks dead sexy in that outfit%29 which will hopefully show that the radiation is shrinking the tumors.  They are small tumors%2C millimeters in size%2C but nevertheless agressive%2C so hopefully the radiation will make them all but disappear before I have to have the mini stem cell transplant.  I%27ve been thinking of ways to update the interested on my condition%2C and I%27m probably going to try doing a livejournal again.  Again%2C you ask%3F  Well%2C I generally despise journalling and find it hard to keep up%2C but knowing that at least someone %28thanks%2C Logan%29 would be interested enough to read it will probably make me more diligent at my updating.%0D%0A%0D%0AOnce I get my livejournal up I%27ll post the address here and stop cluttering this forum with my long-winded messages %28ah%2C the curse of the fast typist%29. But I for one want to be kept up-to-date on your progress. I think I feel some kinship with you as a fellow artist and otaku %28in the best sense of that word%29. You seem like a really nice%2C creative person%2C and I feel really bad that this is happening to you. %0D%0A%0D%0ACan%27t believe some of your local friends aren%27t keeping in touch with you. That sucks. What gives%3F %0D%0A%0D%0AIt almost goes without saying%2C but I want you to know you%27ve got a lot of people pulling for you here. I%27ve gotten at least a couple of messages off of this board by people who haven%27t even posted yet on this or the other thread that are just unsure of how to put what they feel into words.
