This is the only explaination I have for my luck. Today%27s proof of my misfortune%3A%0D%0A%0D%0AI was on my way to work this morning%2C and noticed something odd next to my car. This something odd was the remains of someone%27s turn signal and headlight assembly. Looking up from said remains%2C I discovered why they were piled next to my car. Someone had sideswiped my car%2C left a nice dent on my rear driver%27s side door and corner panel%2C leaving the door inoperable%2C and driven off. After a litany of curses that may still be hanging smoglike over the houses in the area%2C I proceeded to fully examine the damage. In the end%2C I had to run to a body shop nearby to have then pry my wheel well out of itself so I wouldn%27t slash my own tires going over speed bumps.%0D%0A%0D%0AWhat I would like to know about all this is very simple%3A How the fsck can anyone hit my car when it%27s parked%21%3F I drive a %2792 Ford Crown Vic%2C police issue. It%27s big. It%27s white. It has a nice%2C shiny spotlight%2C -on the side that was hit-. How drunk%2Fstoned%2Fstupid does one have to be to not see this%3F%0D%0A%0D%0AThe bright spot of the morning was that apparently this driver%27s intelligence is consistent%2C since she stuck around long enough examining her car to let my neighbor jot down her plate number%2C which%2C after they finally arrived%2C the police were able to run and provide me with the contact information. Turns out the blind genius lives down the street%2C and parked her newly damaged vehicle in front of her house%2C right where I could get some nice pictures for evidence. The neighbor across the street had backed out of their driveway%2C and continued backing apparently.  This road is actually at least 4 cars wide%2C so I%27m still not really sure how this person kept going...
