No matter which particular version of the ship they are using%2C it is _always_ well armed for it%27s size. The original series version %28the pink ship with the underslung looking extra engine pod and anvil shaped upper hull%29 probably had the single most powerful weapon that any of them had. The aperture on the front end of the bottom engine pod was an enormous energy cannon %28fusion%2C particle or Laser I%27m not sure%29. The ship also had some missile batteries.%0D%0A%0D%0AOther ships that have carried the Lovely Angel moniker have had various vaguely defined armament. Usually multiple laser cannon and missiles. The version used in the OVAs and Flight 005 Conspiracy had a missile payload that rivaled the Minerva from Crusher Joe. %0D%0A%0D%0A-Logan%0D%0A%28Edit - a clumsily misleading sentence. I believe the title %22Dirty Pair%22 is kind of a running meta-joke as much as anything.  The Angels are really no more destructive than most heroes%2C they just get a bad rap from warped reports.  If you can get a copy of %22Plague of Angels%22 or %22Biohazard%22 you%27ll see what I mean.%0D%0A%0D%0ABlaming the Angels%2C to a certain degree%2C is like blaming John Sheriden for the Shadow War. But%2C the media found good story material with them%2C and so %5Bu%5Dthat name%5B%2Fu%5D was created.%0D%0A%0D%0AI%27m not denying that the Angels can cause a lot of damage.
