0|0|0|||||We Will Keep You Safe. %28The Megaman Rock Opera%29|BZArcher||22:51:47|01/29/2006|This seems like something that would appeal to the various flavors of geekizen here.%0D%0A%0D%0AA group called %5Bi%5DThe Protomen%5B%2Fi%5D who started out of Tennesee have been doing some on and off shows of a Megaman Rock Opera%2C which takes the story and does some really neat twists on it%2C not to mention with very good music. They%27ve been doing pressings of the opera in CD form on a limited basis %28got mine a few days ago%29%2C and though I ordered it mostly because Megaman is one of my nostalgia hot buttons%2C I was surprised by the quality of the album and how well the band sounds. There%27s talk in their website that they may be working on a larger deal%2C so hopefully this might only be 1 of at least 2 or 3. %28Because%2C let%27s face it%2C after Megaman 3 it was all downhill.%29%0D%0A%0D%0AIf you%27re in the mood for some geek rock%2C or at least a nice stab at the Rock Opera form%2C I%27d definently suggest giving this a shot.
