Though the fuel tanks were close to the turbines the lines and his clothes were kept clear or the intakes and the exhausts were past his soles. Yep%2C that looked like a really cool way to get an extra 1-2 min. of skytime wearing a glider suit.%0D%0A%0D%0AI bet that that was a fairly expensive set up%3B to the best of my admitedly limited knowlege those turbines are used by hobbyiest and a few military uses and probably cost a few grand.
