He keeps his focus narrow-- generally just a handful of the X-books and a few Image%2C Vertigo%2C and Wildstorm books-- and his humor dry%2C and he%27s a lot of fun to read.%0D%0A%0D%0AThis week%27s review of %5Bi%5DPhoenix%3A Warsong%5B%2Fi%5D %233 is great because he doesn%27t even remotely pretend it%27s a review%3B instead%2C it%27s a Keith Olbermann-style Special Comment on Marvel%27s inability to keep to a schedule%2C and you should %5Blink%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.thexaxis.com%2Fminis%2Fwarsong3.htm%7Cread it%5D%3A%0D%0A%0D%0A%5Bi%5DHeaven forfend anyone should suggest that Marvel has a chronic lateness problem because they indulge primadonnas who think their Jerry Bruckheimer story is Citizen Kane%3B artists who somehow find time to draw magazine covers when their regular title is six months late%3B and TV writers who put their TV work first and have no discernible intention of handing in their scripts on anything remotely resembling a deadline.  Heaven forfend anyone suggest that Marvel%27s scheduling department appears to consist of six monkeys and a dartboard%2C and that the company persistently announces comics on schedules that it knows full well will never be achieved.%5B%2Fi%5D%0D%0A%0D%0A%0D%0AHe also thinks Image%27s new limited by Jonathan Hickman%2C %5Bi%5DThe Nightly News%5B%2Fi%5D%2C is pretty cool%2C as do I%2C so you should check that review out while you%27re there too.  %28%5Bi%5DNightly News%5B%2Fi%5D has totally hit my Brian Wood Graphic Design Fetish Cortex.
