My main issue with it was the camera%2C but a lot of that was due to the fact that it was stuck inverted and I didn%27t realize there was an options menu in the demo to go change it %28thanks Slarti%21%29.  So I might or might not play it through again that way.%0D%0A%0D%0AAiming with the force powers was a bit tricky at first%2C though I could see where that would get easier with play.  The sheer amount of environment that is interactive with the force powers is pretty cool %28there%27s a unique way to slaughter some of the TIE fighters in the outdoor bit%29.  It%27s a little on rails in much the same way that Halo is on rails%2C but the AI is different enough each time that it didn%27t seem like it was noticeable.  The method for boss fights%2C as Tycho noted over on Penny Arcade%2C takes you out of the game a little bit%2C but%2C eh.%0D%0A%0D%0AThe biggest saving grace that I got from the demo is that Easy Mode is%2C in fact%2C forgiving enough to make most of the gameplay issues fairly meaningless%2C which means you%27ll be able to have at least one pass through the game just to absorb the story%2C which is%2C from what I understand%2C the best part. The demo shows you %2Azip%2A about the story%2C though.  You%27re sent by Vader out to slaughter your way through the given map with very little context.  From the little bit I did play%2C though%2C and now that I sit and think about it%2C Force Unleashed%27s direct ancestor as a game would probably have to skip all the way back to the first Star Wars game on the Super Nintendo %28a game I about wore my fingers off playing%2C fwiw%29.  A little platformy%2C a little side-scrolly%2C but all in 3%2F4 view 3D and%2C you know%2C actual and interesting AI.  Personally%2C it%27s the Star Wars Game I%27ve been waiting for when I haven%27t been waiting for a modern TIE Fighter%2FX-Wing game %28that isn%27t the N64 Rogue Squadron games%2C anyway%29%2C mainly because I despise rpg%27s%2C and as such the KotOR games did zilch for me.%0D%0A%0D%0AThe boss fights are only weak in that%2C at least for the one you get in the demo%2C they involve the %27press X now%21%27 prompting style to execute the special moves.  Plowing through the mooks is entertaining enough that the few minutes spent dealing with that kind of thing at a boss isn%27t really all as cumbersome as Tycho makes it sound%2C but it does detach you a bit in moments of the game they probably meant to be the most dramatic.%0D%0A%0D%0AIt also means that you can%27t kill an AT-ST by force-throwing Stormtroopers at it. I talked with a physical therapist about the wisdom of using the wiimote as a sword and she pointed out two problems.  One is that if you got into it%2C the act of swinging and not having resistance might lead to injuries.  The second was that the mote itself makes a poor tool to grip.  I can%27t do anything about the grip other than keep my an eye on Johnny Lee%27s blog. My health-based kludge is to pop a broom-handle to the mote%2C and get a used Wooden Man to prop up in the living room as my target.  A bit a extreme%2C but I was thinking of doing some serious game play.
