Gryphon just made it sound like a very interesting place. But%2C the stars never quite aligned for me until this last weekend%2C when the wife and I finally went.%0D%0A%0D%0AI found it a very friendly%2C interesting city. It IS a good city for girl-watching%2C and the weather was gorgeous. The Ontario Science Center was a lot of fun%2C as was the Royal Ontario Museum %28where we got to see the Dead Sea Scrolls%29 and the Bata Shoe Museum. We spent some time today at Casa Loma %28a castle on a hill in Toronto%29%2C where they were holding a RenFest. One of the patrons was a girl with pink hair%2C which I found rather surreal.%0D%0A%0D%0ASo%2C thank you Gryphon%2C for letting me know of this great city. We plan to go back someday.%0D%0A%0D%0ASadly%2C I must report that Happy Seven is no more. Someone YouTubed a video of rats in their front window. The Health Department was not amused. Also%2C while Sneaky Dee%27s still exists%2C it seems to be a TexMex Grill now. I took pictures%2C and once I upload them onto the internet somewhere%2C I will post the links for anyone who is interested.%0D%0A%0D%0AEdit%3A Almost forgot. I found two of Saionji%27s moose. One in the CN Tower%2C the other on the side of the road. I forget exactly where. 1|1|0|||1||RE%3A Just Back From Hogtown|Gryphon||23:33:39|07/05/2009|%3Eand the Bata Shoe Museum.%0D%0A%0D%0AAh%2C the Bata Shoe Museum wins another convert.%0D%0A%0D%0A%3ESadly%2C I must report that Happy Seven is no more.
