However%2C having the only two female leaders on the far extremes of the spectrum renders all the female character development in the series down to %5Bi%5DBlackest Night%3A Bitches Be Crazy%2C Yo%5B%2Fi%5D.%0D%0A%0D%0ABut Soranik has plenty of reasons to be pissed off right now-- she%27s Sinestro%27s daughter%2C her people hated and feared her%2C there%27s zombies everywhere%2C someone briefly offed Kyle.  She%27s also being put up as the One True Love Interest of Mr. Rayner%2C though%2C and the idea that they might be parted summons the freaking Star Sapphires to remedy the situation.  Through all of it%2C she keeps her chin mostly up and keeps soldiering on...%0D%0A%0D%0A...in other words%2C she%27s a textbook example of a dedicated Green Lantern %5Bi%5Deven though she%27s been on both extremes of the spectrum%5B%2Fi%5D.%0D%0A%0D%0AIt doesn%27t seem like this should be rocket science%2C but here we are%2C with Raging Mera and Stripper-Outfit Diana%2C and nothing but dudes in-between.%0D%0A%0D%0A%28Also%2C a dude who steps on other people%27s synapses might not be a good avatar of Compassion%2C but the Atom isn%27t really in my line of interest here.  Meph points out that%2C yes%2C that happened in %5Bi%5DCry For Justice%5B%2Fi%5D%2C and James D. Robinson appears to have had a mind-controlling-dinosaurs-in-everything Claremontian Snap at some point... but if DCU editorial wants Robinson%27s work to be part of the JSA canon%2C they can%27t really have Johns making Ray the lead deputy Indigo%2C too.%29%0D%0A%0D%0AArd Collier%0D%0Athat Janice chick%0D%0AUsual Suspect and general menace

I think it%27s just a call for reinforcements.  The idea is to add new players to the field%2C not to just shuffle people around.  %28I have to say%2C if this is supposed to be a %22team captain%22 thing%2C it would have been better not to create a new Orange Lantern ring.%29%0D%0A%0D%0AAs for why Soranik Natu isn%27t in this%2C I think they%27re trying to keep Hal Jordan in the center of the Blackest Night events on Earth%2C to the exception of all other GLC members.  The GLC gets the job of defending Oa%2C and The Green Lantern Everybody Really Wanted gets to organize the defense of Earth.%0D%0A%0D%0APeter Eng%0D%0A--%0D%0AInsert humorous comment here.
