I currently work as a freelance writer for Demand Studios %28mostly in the eHow department%29 and was wondering if anyone had a few suggestions for branching out%3F  My Google-fu is weak%2C and I can%27t seem to find any other freelance friendly places that don%27t look like scams.%0D%0A%0D%0AAny help would be greatly appreciated%2C as the funds are going towards a plane ticket and spending money so I can go meet my long-distance girlfriend of three years... for the first time.

As anyone who%27s spent any time on the Internet at all knows%2C there%27s a crying need for it in every corner of the Web %28though I admit not everyone who needs it is willing to acknowledge that fact%29. %3B%29  I%27ve been told it%27s got a pretty good money-to-work ratio as freelance work-at-home stuff goes%2C and have considered looking into it myself a couple of times%2C but I%27ve never had the initiative. Unfortunately that%27s experience I don%27t have%2C and can%27t get -- there%27s only one paper around here%2C and it%27s a family-run business.%0D%0A%0D%0ADS pays pretty good for articles written%2C but you have to pick from their list%2C which is currently more than half related to cars %28how to change a transmission%2C things like that%29 and other stuff I can%27t write due to lack of experience.
