The TV Tropes people reacted badly as they reversed as much of Bob%27s edits as they could find.%0D%0A%0D%0AWhat appalled me the most was the tone of voice they took.  Bob is not unknown at TV Tropes - he%27s made some pretty significant contributions to the site.  The mods and admins tone was snide%2C as though dealing with some uppity newbie or a random troll instead of a long-standing member of the community.%0D%0A%0D%0AOn top of all this is the Stalinisation that has been going on over there.  At any time that Fast Eddie or any of his followers are questioned about whether or not what they are doing is the right thing%2C they are immediately banned from the site and the offending post expunged.%0D%0A%0D%0AFurthermore%2C the witty and conversational tones that made the place so much fun is now being relabeled as %27natter%27 as Fast Eddie attempts to remake the site into a true and unbiased wiki... which is not what TV Tropes was supposed to be in the first place.  Informative%3F  Yes.  Wikipedia%3F  No.%0D%0A%0D%0ASo%2C from this point forward as the Unofficial Source Material Ferret%2C I will attempt to use TV Tropes for research as little as humanly possible.
