And you%27ve got the %22computer program that alters reality itself%22 part covered with CLUELESS so you don%27t need SBURB.%0D%0A%0D%0ABut a long-running theme of Homestuck is %22unlikely friendships made through online chats%22%2C which dovetails very nicely with UF%27s galactic Internet. With that in mind%2C I had the thought of recasting the twelve Trolls %28themed after Zodiac signs%29 as various young people living in the UF galaxy%2C whose only common characteristic is a preference for online interaction. Somewhere in a private chatroom in the depths of the GalNet%2C they are like tiny gods.%0D%0A%0D%0AHere%27s what I have so far%2C canon names and a list of traits I%27d like to retain%2C and my UF-flavoured interpretation.%0D%0A%0D%0AAries - Aradia Meidigo%0D%0A%28relentlessly cheerful girl%2C with an interest in archeology%2C morbid fascination with corpses and death. Has powerful psionic ability which in adults is typically harnessed to power Alternian starships.%29%0D%0A%0D%0ATranslated fairly easily to %5Bb%5Dhuman psionic%5B%2Fb%5D on the run from the Psi Cops%2C although that departs the furthest from the %22stuck at home%22 theme. He%27s the chatroom%27s main admin%2C the others know very little about him for their own safety.%0D%0A%0D%0ACancer - Karkat Vantas%0D%0A%28boy with ambitions of being an elite warrior. is a mutant with human-red blood%2C which is considered a horrible deformity in his species. highly versed in movies%2C especially rom-coms. capable of stringing together impressive amounts of verbose profanity.%29%0D%0A%0D%0ADefinitely a %5Bb%5DKlingon%5B%2Fb%5D. Although his red blood won%27t get him killed in this Empire%2C it does invalidate him from the Navy and fuel his bitterness. %0D%0A%0D%0ALeo - Nepeta Leijon%0D%0A%28cheerful and friendly girl with deadly claws. enjoys role-playing and pretending to be a catgirl%2C and drawing shipping charts of her friends%29%0D%0A%0D%0AThe very picture of a %5Bb%5DDantrovian%5B%2Fb%5D%2C what else can I say%3F %0D%0A%0D%0AVirgo - Kanaya Maryam%0D%0A%28stoic and eloquent lady%2C has an interest in fashion and clothing which is otherwise uncommon in her species%29%0D%0A%0D%0A%5Bb%5DVulcan%5B%2Fb%5D%2C although beats me how you could render that name. %0D%0A%0D%0ALibra - Terezi Pyrope%0D%0A%28overly cheerful justice-obsessed girl. blind%2C but can perceive smell%2Ftaste of colors. somehow. likes dragons.%29%0D%0A%0D%0ANot sure on this one. Considering %5Bb%5DFerengi%5B%2Fb%5D%2C although I can%27t imagine her coming out of a highly patriarchal society.%0D%0A%0D%0ASaggitarius - Equius Zahhak%0D%0A%28unnaturally STRONG young man%2C highly skilled with robotics. unfortunate fixation on caste ideology. sweats profusely when excited. in a very close but platonic relationship with Nepeta.%29%0D%0A%0D%0ASo very much a %5Bb%5DKryptonian%5B%2Fb%5D kid%2C and one who%27s read far too much General Zod. Everyone just rolls their eyes when he starts going on about Kryptonian supremacy. Nepeta assures everyone he%27s a good guy under it all.%0D%0A%0D%0ACapicorn - Gamzee Makara%0D%0A%28Juggalo%2C basically. Refers to Insane Clown Posse as the Mirthful Messiahs. Frequently imbibes soporific substances. I find it highly likely that the UF-Ferengi decided long ago that misogyny cuts into the profit margins%2C which would never do.

It goes up to 11%2C and then they replace the scale with a logarithmic one.%0D%0A%0D%0AIf you have a spare week--and no%2C I%27m not kidding%2C you will lose a week at least if you try getting into this--then give it a whirl.
