It%27s the latest in their MX line of premium mice%2C of which I%27ve had several of the previous models%2C and it compares very well to its immediate predecessor%2C the Performance Mouse MX %28one of my favorites%2C and still in service on my Big Laptop now that I%27ve got the MX Master on my desktop system%29.  If anything%2C the shape is slightly %5Bi%5Dmore%5B%2Fi%5D comfortable than that already-very-comfortable mouse%2C and the button that engages and disengages %22speed mode%22 on the scroll wheel feels nicer. I contemplated getting the MX Master when I built my current rig earlier this year%2C but ended up going with the Logitech G502 Proteus Core instead due to its button layout.

It still works with %5Bi%5DElite Dangerous%5B%2Fi%5D%2C but the configuration software doesn%27t work%2C so I can%27t turn the LEDs off... and of course the buttons and switches aren%27t labeled the same as they are in the E%3AD control config screen%2C so I can%27t tell if anything I%27m trying to assign has been used for something else unless I set it and get the %22well%2C that WAS %27retract landing gear%27 but whatever you say%22 error message.%0D%0A%0D%0A%28Which%2C while I%27m grumbling%2C works backward from the way it should%2C or is it just me%3F  %22That%27s already bound to such-and-such%22 strikes me as a more helpful message than %22you just unbound such-and-such%22.  Or hey%2C it could even ask for confirmation%21  Radical%2C I know.%29%0D%0A%0D%0AAnyway.  It was a good deal%2C but it was still fairly expensive for a toy%2C and I don%27t know if I actually like it yet.
