Final drafts of the research paper for the seminar I was taking were due at 1 PM today%2C although I turned mine in the night before%2C because%3A%0D%0A%0D%0A- At 1 PM today%2C I was at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor%2C having an upper gastric endoscopy.  This was not an emergency procedure%3B my primary care PA has wanted to get one ever since she took over my case last year%2C preparatory to maybe changing up my acid reflux meds%2C but then came the plague%2C and it got rescheduled three or four times.  This time%2C it happened to land at exactly the same time as the paper deadline%2C making this week about three times more stressful than it needed to be.%0D%0A%0D%0AHowever%2C both of those things are done now%2C and I%27m in the clear until September.  Hopefully that means I%27ll be able to resume working on some things%2C although probably not tonight%2C because it%27s late%2C I%27m tired%2C and there%27s another thing that happened today which I want to write down while it%27s fresh in my mind.%0D%0A%0D%0A--G.%0D%0A-%3E%3C-%0D%0ABenjamin D.
