Still don%27t have most of the surface sensation in that hand%2C because that%27s a different cluster of burned-out neurons that is probably never coming back%2C and both the %22only one bar of battery ever%22 and the periodic banks of brain fog are as persistent as ever%2C but at least the waves of pins-and-needles and occasional complete shoulder-down short-outs have stopped%21  You take what you can get with this condition%2C I tell you what.%0D%0A%0D%0AThe other stuff is going OK as well.  I%27m doing what I%27m supposed to be doing and putting up good numbers%26mdash%3Bmy A1C reading%2C in particular%2C came down more than four points between April and August.  CGM technology has been absolutely invaluable to this project.  I%27m not going to say it would have been %5Bi%5Dimpossible%5B%2Fi%5D the old way%2C because obviously people did and still do it that way%2C but real-time monitoring makes it so much easier %5Bi%5Dand%5B%2Fi%5D safer.%0D%0A%0D%0ASo then%2C you may be thinking%2C if your health hasn%27t been kicking your ass all summer more than the usual amount%2C where%27s the %5Bi%5Dstuff%5B%2Fi%5D then%3F  And that would be a fair%2C albeit pushy%2C question%2C the short answer to which is that there%27s been a lot of Adult Life Stuff going on that hasn%27t necessarily been all bad%2C but %5Bi%5Dhas%5B%2Fi%5D all been distracting and%2For represented a significant energy drain.  Hopefully I%27ll be able to report on some of the more interesting parts soon%3B the rest is just the usual boring %22we live in a society%22 bullshit.  Short version%3A turns out it%27s hard to summon the Creative Flow when you%27re spending a lot of your time unsuccessfully looking for work you can actually do%2C and much of the rest unsuccessfully trying to convince the government that there%27s not much at all in the way of work you can actually do out there.%0D%0A%0D%0AOh yeah also a couple weeks ago I fell down a new rabbit hole%2C but I think I%27ll post about that on a more appropriate part of the board.
