Take one part rolled Ranger that%27s been written off an insurance company and sold as scrap%2C one part swamp buggy %28the utility type%2C not the racing kind.  If you don%27t know the difference%2C it%27s not terribly important.  Ever since TNN stopped being The Nashville Network I don%27t even know if swamp buggy races get tv time anymore%29%2C and one part electrician%2Fwelding torch%2C and you get this%3A%0D%0A%0D%0A%5Bcenter%5D%0D%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fhomepage.mac.com%2Fwedge%2Fstuff%2FTruggy1s.jpg%0D%0A%0D%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fhomepage.mac.com%2Fwedge%2Fstuff%2FTruggy2s.jpg%0D%0A%0D%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fhomepage.mac.com%2Fwedge%2Fstuff%2FTruggy3s.jpg%0D%0A%5B%2Fcenter%5D%0D%0A%0D%0AThe chassis%2C front fenders and hood%2C and engine is all stock.  The dash looks like it%27s what was there when they got it%2C but my brother-in-law %28the electrician%29 apparently worked a minor miracle with the rats nest that used to be inside it.  The bed%2C all the decking%2C the buckboard seat %28as my mother calls it%29 and the deck%2Fsunshade above the driver%2Fpassenger seats are all original.  The railing around everything up top is a stock pipe rack that my father sells at the store %28he just %5Bi%5Dhappened%5B%2Fi%5D to have one extra that fit a Ranger.  Yaright.%29  The seats are from the full on swamp buggy they have at the moment%2C which got brand new seats in the process.  It%27s done for the most part%2C but they%27ll probably spend another year tinkering with it and adding bells and whistles in their spare time.  I might have to look into getting it an ahugha horn for Christmas.  %3A%29%0D%0A%0D%0AIt doesn%27t have a name yet--Truggy seems to be more of a classification than a name %28You got your truck in my buggy%21%29%2C but from what I understand it might end up being in part of the full name. Upon getting this pic%2C I suddenly remembered that it%27s a scratch built chassis and not from a Jeep%2C but the size comparison is the same.  They bought this one already built and ran some modifications over it.  Personally%2C the few times I%27ve been on it it%27s felt precarious and tippy to me %28you%27ll see why in a second%29. And that%27s probably his 30.06 with him%2C since it%27s not a black powder rifle.  The shots are all at or near our old hunting camp in Central Florida%2C probably %7E15 years ago.  We still have acess to that land%2C or a chunk of it anyway.  The camp is pretty much toast now%2C but they have a trailer out there to take care of that now%2C and less guys to share the land with%2C so it all works out.%0D%0A%0D%0AAnd just for grins%2C this was our last airboat.  He used to build them when we had a camp out in the Everglades%2C and he bought this one from a friend a while back and fixed it up.  It%27s at a show here%2C and it won several awards while he had it. So%2C I doubt it%27ll ever get gunracks.  The buggy%2C on the other hand%2C should have several %28or it soon will%29%2C and you%27ll note that %5Bi%5DClaim Jumper%5B%2Fi%5D had spaces for seven rifles %284 between the driver and the front passenger%2C and one each at each of the three passenger seats%29.
