There was a soundtrack CD%2C but the only symphonic music it contained were Kamen%27s opening and ending. So I thought I was stuck. I could - and did - cite the music according to its place in the episode in question%2C but anybody out there who didn%27t have the series on DVD %28and really%2C if you have any interest in the golden age of space exploration%2C you ought to%2C but%29 was going to be out of luck.%0D%0A%0D%0AUntil it hit me yesterday%3A Maybe the composer who did that episode has a website.%0D%0A%0D%0AAnd indeed %5Blink%3Amasondaring.com%7Che does.%5D If you go to the Credits page and scroll down to the listing for %5Bi%5DFrom the Earth to the Moon%5B%2Fi%5D%2C you%27ll find little links for two samples of his music from the ep in question%2C and %5Blink%3Amasondaring.com%2Fmusic%2Ffavorites2003%2FTrack17.mp3%7Cone of them%5D is the first 1%3A53 of the exact bit I used %28starting%2C by a nice coincidence%2C right where I chose to start%29. It%27s only a sample%2C but it%27s enough to give you the idea. %28Despite the ID3 tags%2C I%27ve found no evidence that such a compilation ever saw public release. I%27d be interested in getting hold of a copy if it had.%29%0D%0A%0D%0AAs an aside%2C the guy has the best name ever%3A %22Mason Daring%22. In its native habitat%2C it%27s the theme music for%2C of all things%2C the Apollo Lunar Module. In UF%2C it%27s Corwin and Utena%27s love theme.%0D%0A%0D%0A--G.%0D%0A-%3E%3C-%0D%0ABenjamin D.
