As far as the actual recording process goes%2C a take basically lasts until I screw up %28which can take anywhere from 15 seconds to 20 minutes or more%2C if I%27m really on a roll%29%2C or the phone rings%2C or someone comes to the door%2C or what have you.  Then I%27ll trim off the messed-up bit and restart from there.  Lather%2C rinse%2C repeat%2C until I finish%2C get tired%2C run out of water%2C get bored%2C or have to go do something else.  It%27s not terribly professional%2C but I do at least try to make myself re-cut anything I do really poorly.  I don%27t always catch my own verbal typos%2C any more than I always spot the actual typographical ones%2C but most of the time my vocalization failures are of the %22trip and fall%2C spiraling off into meaningless jabber%22 type and thereby hard for me to miss. %3A%29%0D%0A%0D%0A--G.%0D%0A-%3E%3C-%0D%0ABenjamin D.
