We didn%27t have call letters or anything%2C and the audible range on the transmitters was maybe 100 yards%3B I don%27t know if there was a special FCC licensing arrangement there%2C or if the transmitters were just too puny for the government to care about.%0D%0A%0D%0AIn the fourth grade%2C I had an afternoon show on the station at Katahdin Avenue School %28where I went for grades 2 through 5%29.  I played what would now probably be labeled a mix of Oldies and Classic Rock %28although in 1982%2C Classic Rock only reached about as far as Boston%27s first album%29%2C with the occasional foray into AOR and juuust a hint of smooth jazz to keep everybody guessing.
