To find out%2C he dumped it all into Word and converted it to a small proportional font %28Verdana 8%2C if you%27re into that kind of detail%29%2C then scrounged around in the resulting heap of files for hours and hours converting -emphasized bits- into italics and what not by hand.  He also designed a nifty presentation for all of the various pieces%27 first pages%3A%0D%0A%0D%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.eyrie-productions.com%2FUF%2FFI%2FSOS%2FGFX%2Fs1%2520print%2520titlepage%2520sample.jpg%0D%0A%0D%0AOnce the files were all converted and arranged%2C with blanks added where necessary so that each movement%2Fchapter%2Fwhatever started recto %28i.e.%2C on the right-hand side of the spread%29%2C Truss designed a cover and some spine art%2C and we took the lot to Kinko%27s %28remember those%3F%29 up in Burlington and had it printed and Velobind bound %28Velobound%3F%29.%0D%0A%0D%0Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.eyrie-productions.com%2FUF%2FFI%2FSOS%2FGFX%2Fs1%2520print%2520edition.jpg%0D%0A%0D%0AThe result was somewhat more substantial than I had initially assumed it would be.  With everything put together the way we had it%2C and in a pretty small font to boot%2C the full text amounted to 400 8%C2%BD%C3%9711 pages%2C not counting front- and endmatter. As you can see on the cover%2C this copy is a %22second edition%22%2C but I don%27t recall now whether the %22first edition%22 actually saw print beyond possibly a prototype.%0D%0A%0D%0AThe print version contained the full text of the Symphony%2C from %5Bi%5DWounded Rose%5B%2Fi%5D to %5Bi%5DPavane for a Dead Princess%5B%2Fi%5D.  Wherever we had a blank page %28after the chapters that had an odd number of pages%2C mainly%29%2C we threw in some line art%2C mostly either drawn by Phil or taken from a Shinya Hasegawa artbook%2C except for the endpage of %5Bi%5DHogtown Rhapsody%5B%2Fi%5D%2C which is a grayscale conversion of Anne%27s design sketch for Goth Miki. They are easily distinguished by their forthright%2C honest actions in an increasingly corrupt universe%2C their semi-hierarchical society based on mutual trust and merit%2C and their predilection for melee weapons requiring both strength and finesse for proper use.
