This is the kind of book I've always wanted to write. It's anecdotal, it's funny, it's earnest, and it's not wholly linear; your categorizing the articles by chapters instead of linearly is wonderful. This book is exctly what appeals to me about the CORE Undocumented Features stories, it's life through the eyes of Gryphon, and Gryphon's view of life is excellent. Your stories have a twist of quirk that's not wholly cynical but it's not slobberingly optimistic; it's again the flavor you bring to stories, wholly honest about the world but not buried by it.

Hopefully the rest of the weekend will offer an opportunity to get through the rest of the book, but so far I'm really enjoying it.

(Completely nonsequitor, but interesting: I was shuffling stuff around tonight, and Off The Top Of My Head ended up atop my stack of Transmetropolitan books. I find it funny that Gryphon's real collection of articles-turned-book fell landed on a series with the same kind of book, Spider Jerusalem's (albeit fictional) book I Hate It Here.)
