We did the best we could here, folks. A few people we missed do drop in in Twilight 7 to say hi, but the fact of the matter is there is only so much you can do before you have to move on with the story.

As it is, we didn't do badly. The first WDF officer killed in combat makes an appearance. The Autobots killed at the beginning of the Transformers movie have a scene. James Watt, Patton and Rommel, the nameless trench warriors of World War 1... and we could have done so much more, had we space to do it in.

Hell, we have two characters in the story whose RL analogues really are dead, and we all hope they got to read it, wherever they are.

What I'm saying is, don't read any omission as deliberate, either of historical figures or UF co-stars. We didn't show Sakura from the Airbats as part of the Einjerhar's air corps, Bucky O'Hare didn't pop up in the space battle, Carson D. Carson wasn't among the dishonored dead. The only thing this means is, we didn't have anything for them to do, plot-wise, which wasn't already being done. It does not mean any of the above three are alive. They aren't, at least not until we find a -really- good reason to bring them back.

Now if you'll excuse me, I found some material in 'Die Hardly' that needs editing to fit in with current continuity.
