I figured that this was the way it was going to happen as soon as I saw the way Clarion Call ended. I mean, right now, there's a very good possibility that full-scale war may break out between the EA and its allies and the Zeta Cygni/Salusia bloc and their allies (those being the two most powerful factions in the Federation, if I'm given to understand correctly), which in itself would render the whole ADoI scenario moot. (I mean, the title of the next movement is very suggestive of what happens, even if the good guys get really, miraculously lucky and manage to avert The Big One...)

Rescinding ADoI, of course, doesn't therefore imply that Road Movie to Naboo, the as-yet-unfinished sequel to RMtN, Cybertron Reloaded and Blades have to be rescinded as well. The situation in RMtN, for example, could work just as well if the Federation Civil War had been ongoing for several years at the time the story begins.

There's no reason, though, why Yuri can't still make the key discovery that exposes Clark's real nature and agenda after the war begins instead of before. (Incidentially, in the case of reading some unrelated stuff on the TV Tropes wiki, I believe I now have an idea as to what the "shadow" is that Gryphon was alluding to in the Post-UF section of the forum - in the post where he put up "The Hollow Men" - some time back. Given the prominence of B5 as source material in UF, and given that the Vorlons may be about to get their turn on center stage, I THINK I know what may be coming...but then again, I could be completely wrong. :) )

BTW, I saved ADoI to my hard drive several years ago when it was first released, so no need for me to fret about losing that particular piece of writing.
