I can't see UF-Gryphon leaving it in orbit of Saturn. First, why fly it that far? Secondly, well, I just realized my second reason was faulty logic (that he wouldn't put in easy reach of the jerkwads in control of Earthforce, except this would have happened long before their jerkwadishness became apparant)

I'm sure that, if it's not in or around the Sphere, then it could easily be orbiting a nearby brown dwarf star or something.
