So am I - it had potential to be a real huge downer, but it ended up on a light-enough note that it wasn't. In fact, had we not known that G was ending up in an alternate universe, we might even have the level of hope that Tali has in the end. Either way, we know she's likely to still be around in 2388, and I'm sure she'll try and contact him, unless she's afraid he doesn't want her to after all these years...
