I had the self-amusing term 'Chick Fic' pop into my head at one point. I don't mean that to be insulting or sexist, just as a play on 'Chick Flick', but I was curious if the overall female tone had more to do with the nature of the character (she is a she after all), or was it a defined thematic choice from the start? Or a combination of both? Or am I reading to far into it?
Dumb old guy that I am, I felt it was deftly handled and that it really worked well.
I couldn't help but drawing some Real Genius parallels as well...intentional or just a result of my having watched it nine bazillion times? :)
