I still have problems understanding how they shipped macintalk without some sort of warning on the installer disks. It gets left on here by accident way too often (argh, who turns it on?). Why is it that all of the voices either sound like high-voltage-transformer-humming or sheep?

But I don't know if you could put UF on audio tape - you'd lose so much in the way of visual gags and choreography. If I say "it'd be like listening to the star wars trilogy on tape" I know that someone's going to reply and say they do it all the time but, well, it is.

The destruction of the SDF-17 and the Battle of Zeta Cygni each need sixteen-by-nine with more industrial light and magic than a thousand Lucas films.

And anyway, I doubt Gryphon and Zoner and the crew have time to do the voices for a tape anyway, and without them it really would suck ;)
