Okay, this works completely differently from our platters. We use Strong platters which have brains with levers and variable speed payout. The main causes of brain wraps on ours are: film inside brain posts and brain switch stuck on or off. Our projectors are robust enough to mutilate the film under those conditions, rather than the other way around.

Of course now Zenigame is wondering "What's a brain?"
