Don't be so literal. He's talking about her handing out work assignments at that meeting, not just agreeing that they'll show up for the meeting...

Heh. Horatio takes off or puts on his sunglasses more often than he kills people, which is saying something, believe me. :)

Well, yes, yes it is. Sheesh, you people. You complain that Catherine isn't irritable enough, you complain that she's too grumpy...

It's plenty witty if you've seen Real Genius.

Fudge sauce gets its own holiday (commemorating a tanker crash during the early colonial period that the natives found most intriguing), but the one Sara is thinking of is Terzayyl.

I doubt the chapulins have anything to do with entomology, per se; they're just tasty. (And healthier than potato chips!)

There aren't that many people in the city center on a Sunday afternoon; that particular InO does most of its business from the workday lunch and dinner crowd. The rest of the time it's pretty much deserted except for cops and EMTs. You would think the local Black Hood contingent would know that, but then, their current Q-Boss is a relative newbie, since the previous one got fried back in Requiem for a Lensman.

Tomato, tomahto...

Don't be silly. In Klingon "Gilbert" is spelled ghIlb'rD.

I would've thought the conversation in the next few paragraphs after the part you quoted made it fairly plain (coupled with Gryphon's earlier remarks to Grissom, which were immediately followed by Catherine appearing on the Lens network), but I guess not.

And no, it's not that I have anything against Warrick. I just haven't figured out what he's particularly good at.
