and you are correct about Corwin having bought the building out of his share of the prize money from Valiants various pirate swatting, play tourbus for the Band summer voyages. Now that you mention it, it would make sense for the tall bloke to be John Spartan; after all Corwin originally rented to Janice because her old landlord freaked about having a getter powered weapon in her apartment. Renting to the Master Chief would just be more of the same... Although it wouldnt surprise me if Domon also rented there, as clearly the WWB would have fast access to ACROSS headquarters.
