So, listening to one of my own 'Y'know, this could work as a racer's backing track' candidates, it struck me that it'd be really cool if the highlight/streaming broadcast reels, along with the announcer and commentators, included whatever happened to be blasting in the current leader's cockpit at that moment.Including changing when the leader status did. ----- Iä! I've been watching corpo livestreamers enough recently that my thoughts automatically turned to how the music licensing for the broadcasters would work, or not work, as the case may be. :) --G. -><- Benjamin D. No, the tricky bit would be the tracks whose titles include the words 'Explicit Version'. ----- Iä! Iä! Moe fthagn!

>No, the tricky bit would be the tracks whose titles include the words >'Explicit Version'.(glances at iTunes "Music for Asteroid Racing" playlist, which, yes, he's had for many years) Of which there would be... many. Ah well, the event itself would probably have a viewer discretion warning anyway, given that competitors sometimes... you know... get atomized and stuff. --G. -><- Benjamin D. True, true. Given the prominence of military hardware, the need for high-speed rescue ships and medical support, etc, the budgets involved are probably enough to lose the music rights under a couch cushion.----- Iä! Iä! Moe fthagn!
