That is super cute. The VV stories are excellent, and the rescue and inclusion of Gumi was a very fun aspect. I also really liked Rodimus Prime's involvement; a good example of the differences in his leadership and diplomatic style versus what we've seen in Optimus time and time again.

It also helps that, unlike his source material, Rodimus Prime had 15-20 years to grow into the role of Autobot Commander, and the rest of the Autobots (and those organics who knew Optimus back in the day) had time to adjust to the fact that Rodimus would be pretty much the only option for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, somehow it's harder (for me, anyway) to picture Optimus Prime saying, "My friend, don't be a dick."
