I see two ways to parse this:

1. The curse applied to me.

Hell no! Life is frustrating enough as it is!

2. The curse applied to my (currently theoretical) SO.

Hell no! I'm not a cruel and sadistic bastard (most of the time), and I enjoy being with a partner who isn't completely frustrated.
