Yup, that was exactly what I was thinking of, given the placement of the burn mark described when Zoner fished Gryph out of the pond. I think Zoner needing to be reminded to fish him out added to the overall level of hysterics on my part. too.

Oh, and I also think you did a great job with defining the line between Gryphon the Father, (Barbed wire and posting guard) and Gryphon-sensei as well...
