Cybertron Dreams is up there for me, mainly because it makes so much more sense than the complete mess the actual TF universe eventually crumbled into. To their credit, of course, the main goal had more to do with selling toys than concise and creative story and plot. ;)

Soundwave was always one of my favorite characters anyway, and I always had an inkling he was more misunderstood than indifferent.

Rite of Passage is up there as well, if only for Gryph's ED-209, who steals the show.

And when I get bored and go in to re-read stuff, I usually wind up in Doc's thread too--having little experiance with anime (most of what I know comes from EPU and the exploration I've done from titles related to here) I tend to get a bigger kick out of the stuff based on other sci-fi and such. Which is probably why I'm on the side of enjoying D.J.'s character in NXE, but that's a topic for another bloated thread elsewhere. ;)
