Favorite story, hm?

Generally, my favorite story arc is the Hammer Time series. PCHammer is just the sort of guy I'd want to have with me when running into strange wierdness.

Right up there is Leap Years, both for being well written, having an interesting story, and retro-weaving through UF continuity without having to break anything or particularly screw with things behind the scenes. (At least, as I remember it. It's been a while since I've read some of UF.)

As for stories that star the Stars, I'd go between Rite of Passage and Core 1. RoP is a snappy, exciting action ride, along with techie notes that really make me want to write GURPS:UF. C1, on the other hand, has a lot of wacky humor that you don't get as much in the later sagas.

Geeze, I dunno. Regis, can I use a Lifeline?
