Which begs the question, how did Hi-Q, the 'Engine' of Optimus Prime in a Powermaster combination, die of old age?

Unless, being the nature of the entire situation that Hi-Q and Prime were in, due to Prime's 'resurrection', it caused Hi-Q to age physically by a slow drain of his life force as well as the powering of Prime, and that helped to 'lock' in the process...
