Amen. Having recently turned to said literature for, um, relief, I'm always amused when I find that I've followed the non-sex subpolot and skipped the sex because the subplot is much more interesting. That happened on Monday. I still haven't read the sex scene yet, but I've re-read the rest of the piece twice.

Been there, done that. In fact the funk made it possible for me to meet the SO (who I knew remotely) and recognize what was in front of me. Never fret, your Rose Prince will come.
