Little Ms. Liza has no idea of just how lucky she's been so far. I don't think anyone's ever told her her pet target's dad and best friends are on a first name basis with Death. I loved the way Juri issued her challenge, but it does open up one plot hole... Why didn't little miss Rich witch just run straight to the dean and try and make trouble?

As to the duel, even though I too have never seen Utena, somehow I instantly figured out how Utena's first duel with Juri ended as soon as she made the comment about not falling for the same trick twice.

Durendal... Who's the sick puppy who would name an AI after a bomb? Especially an AI for one of the few places that still has a pocket research reactor? However, it seems to be crossing the line from artificial to real senience, ala certain computers in NXE's omake theaters. (the only part of nxe I've read)

Is it just me, or were there a lot more peopel using song zingers in this part?

We're definatly seeing the light of justice start to reveal traces of shadows, too... Why do I have a VERY bad feeling that this Psi Corps is not much better than its source material? Also makes one wonder just what Mac's secret is that the whoevers want to keep an eye on him. It may be my sensitivity to plot lines, but I have a feeling he may become a member of the Band Federation or Duelists club soon for much the same reason Truss' daughter did.

Last two thoughts... #1, I'm glad that you posted the Dorothy moves into her room sceen earlier. If you hadn't I would have snarfed my iced tea... and it was sitting on the desk at the time. #2 Apprentice godling my backside... Corwin seems to be well versed in the Miraculous works department. He hath crafted well indeed, and is even at this stage a credit to his parents.
