Chart all the following as unofficial, except for bits about Harcourt "Mac" McKenzie's personality...

>Little Ms. Liza has no idea of just how lucky she's been so far. I
>don't think anyone's ever told her her pet target's dad and best
>friends are on a first name basis with Death. I loved the way Juri
>issued her challenge, but it does open up one plot hole... Why didn't
>little miss Rich witch just run straight to the dean and try and make
>trouble?

My guesses:

(1) Juri is not a student;

(2) Liza does not (at this time) want the attention of the cops; and

(3) Liza wants to humble this one personally.

>Durendal... Who's the sick puppy who would name an AI after a bomb?

Look up the Mac game "Marathon."

For historical reference, however, Durandal/Durendal/Durendalus etc. was the legendary enchanted sword of Prince Roland, son of Charlemagne. Pick up a copy of Bullfinch's Mythology for a starting point on the legends.

Mu ha ha ha ha...

His nationality might do it, except you've got the wrong Mac.

Harcourt McKenzie, aka Mac, is not -on- the list.

J. Maurice MacEchearn, aka Moose, is.

> It may be my sensitivity to plot lines, but I have a feeling he

I won't say that Mac will join either club or not, but we -will- see more of him than a foil for G'Kron's prattling.

(BTW, THANKS for noticing Mac. }:-{D )

>Apprentice
>godling my backside... Corwin seems to be well versed in the
>Miraculous works department. He hath crafted well indeed, and is even

I -really- need to write up 'Wedding from Niflheim' and show just how much trouble Corwin (and Leonard, Priss, Sylvie, Hiroshi, Achika, Tenchi, and Guy) can get -into- when they're a little younger...
