Ah. Durandal was the sword of Roland, one of Charlemagne's knights. I think the legends of Charlemagne's knights are in Bulfinch's Mythology, but I'm too lazy to check.

Oh, those. Actually Saionji said that (Zoner just said, "You might try letting your friends help you")... other than that, and Utena singing a piece of "You're So Vain" (which she's heard the Art of Noise cover), I can't think of any others. But then I probably do them unconsciously. :)

(Saionji seems to have several parallels to Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band going on - his theme song is "Getting Better"... :)

Thanks. I'm very pleased with TR's performance in this one, myself. He makes kind of an odd teddy bear, but I like the image of that scene in my head; to borrow a Fred Gallagher-ism, it's "Sad Girl with Robot". :)

Nah, not Zoner's fault. It's Utena's copy; Azalynn returned it (remember, she borrowed it in Azalynn's Winter Holiday), and rather than reshelving it properly, Utena just tossed it on her desk. She must have been in a hurry at the time. :)
