In that case, a bit of background info: "Zettai Unmei Mokushiroku" isn't actually used as fight music in the original show. It appears in the same place in every episode that contains a duel: it plays as Utena is ascending to the platform above the clouds to fight, and ends when she arrives. There are three different versions of it on the show - like the Pentium theme, it keeps getting more elaborately orchestrated while remaining essentially the same. The version in Duelists of the Rose is the first one.

More data than you probably wanted, but what the hell.

Unsurprising... the show is so rich in odd imagery and curious psychosexual background noise that its fandom contains a higher-than-usual percentage of total warpos. :)

Heh. All of Seazer's choral arrangements (there's one in the background of almost every duel, in addition to 'Zettai' playing before each one) are like that - they have lyrics which are evocative on a kind of visceral level, but don't make any actual sense. :)
