Well, no. Asgard is on a mountain top, and the mythology is based on really cold parts of Europe, so it's more like a day at the fjord.

But seriously, while I'm sure Corwin will face all the hazing that any man (at any age) will get from a tight knit group of older yet physically young woman, it's not as bad as say, training with frost giants.

Of course the he's going to be embarassed at some point, the source of diatribes against his gender, and hit on as he gets older and cuter. Assuming he has the Hutchins' babe magnet charisma. And he will have every single one of them working him into the ground so that he passes his Ascension with flying colors. It will be really, really tough and not always fair.

But at least the scenery's nice, and probably smells good most of the time...
