True, but what would be closer to what I was thinking was his reaction to them noticing him. :)

And now I have a fit of giggles thinking about the idea of Utena being there when he gets his first dose of good natured Valkyrie grabass (as my father would call it). I'm sure her reaction to his reaction would be equally priceless. Heh.
