And the 'real' affect of the seal is that stepping on it dooms you to never graduate from WPI. Hmmm... most of the people I know (including me) who flaunt their business on the seal (sleeping on it, eating on it, just stepping on it, doing other things on it) generally don't graduate. At least, not on time...
