I can't find 'cardpique' anywhere, actually, so I can't say. If it's something that's on top of the billet, it should work in later European heraldry when they had to relax the strictures of go insane. Under the earlier ones, you can't put metal on metal (argent and or (white and yellow/silver and gold) or tincture on tincture.

This is getting waaaay off base, me thinks.
