I have never heard of 'lime' used this way - but the few times I have heard it used over the past 10+ years it meant 'yaoi'.

Personally I think it is just fscking stupid no matter what it means and therefore never use it. It is just some fans being 'clever' - for small quantities of clever.

Personally I can't be bothered with the pigeonholing fandom has become obsessed with.

Not in my book. I think the trend to label anything that has any sexual contant at all as 'lemon' is another stupid ass move in fandom. That wasn't how it used to be. It had to be graphic to be lemon. Now I see people labeling anything that even *mentions* characters having sex as lemon. "And then they had sex." Oops, characters having sex, it must be lemon! I really am getting bitter about fandom... sometimes I want to issue a collective bitch slap...

IMNSHO nothing Eyrie has ever posted qualifies as lemon, and I would not allow any of it to be so labeled.
