I'm sure there are members of the faculty who do not entirely approve of Utena's wardrobe, but they can't do anything about it. It's an approved uniform, it came from the bookstore autotailor; there's nothing more to be done.

On the Institute's young men, they're almost exactly the same, but somehow they don't quite hang the same way. :)

Well, he does wear the shorts version of the uniform in warm weather, but his isn't tailored quite like that. :)
